10 years on

Here we are 10 years later and still in business. I'm now trying to get to grips with Blogging, Twitter and Facebook and wondering why people don't pick up the phone as much. I know we all have a busy lifestyle but it amazes me that customers often only want to communicate by computers. That said, we have to change with the times or give up and after 10 years, now is not the time. The high street has changed in 10 years. There are less people and I often wonder how long the high street will be here. I love talking to customers, finding what they like, their lifestyle which you don't get via e-mail. I just want customers to be happy with their purchase. Maybe I worry too much but when you are working for yourself, reputation counts for a lot. We have had many customers come back to us over the years so we must be doing something right. We are also finally trendy, but it is now called Upcycling and Vintage. We just love giving old furniture a new lease of life.
